A new home symbolizes new beginnings, a place where a young

family, a retired couple or a college graduate can realize the American Dream.

Real estate agent Vickey England says the decision to purchase a home

represents the future, a sanctuary, pride and fulfillment in the life of the client -

be it buyer or seller. For over 25 years, the Las Vegas real estate industry

has become one of the most lucrative businesses in the city. England has

not only witnessed the city change from a young metropolis to an aggressive

market but also has been part of it. Her extensive experience makes her

one of the most respected agents in Las Vegas.

As an agent, consultant, investor builder and expert witness, England's

real estate resume is filled with years of skill and knowledge. She moved to

Las Vegas from Southern California with her family when she was 7 years old.

Years later as a student at UNLV, she studied marketing and finance; however,

recognizing the rapidly growing enviroment around her, England left school to

persue a career in real estate. In 1981, she received her broker and salesman

license and has continued her career in both commercial and private sectors of

the business.

After years as a top producer at reputable real estate agencies including

Sahara Realty, Circle Realty, and Coldwell Banker, England moved to Award

Realty, where she rejoined her old business associate and long time friend,

Jerry Masini, owner/broker. "I made the switch for change and challenge. The

journey is very important to me. The energy of the transaction is very important

to me. Learning every day drives me," says England. "It's all about the client.

I go where they need to go. I service their dreams, desires and needs."

Working with various types of property led to the extensive

knowledge England has about land in the city. As a certified residential

consultant and investor, England enjoys all sectors of the real estate industry,

covering a wide range of services necessary to buy and sell property. She also

engages in the creative side of real estate, building four homes from the ground

up. This experience is particularly valuable for clients who choose to design

their own homes: she can relate to them more than an agent, but as a homeowner,

herself.

Keeping a symbiosis between her personal and professional life is

important to England, who feels that both realms are crucial to a happy and

successful carrer. "My pride and joys in my life are my daughter, friends, family and clients. All else is secondary."

Her work helps people find new homes, investments and sometimes

new beginnings. "I believe in the sanctuary of the home, the lifestyle of the

individual, and their secure investment over time." The real estate industry

is integral to the growth of the city and the agents that participate in the

commerce of property exchange understand their responsibility to the clients,

making them indispensable to the Las Vegas Community. "The planned

communities of the south and west changed the entire complexion of Las

Vegas," says England. "Now verticle-living, high-rise will change lifestyle

and the market again." Las Vegas is always reinventing itself and England

will be there to assist people who want to change along with it.
